Overview

Case Study Premise

As Lead UX Designer & Product Strategist, I designed an iOS mobile app for The Sports Bra to bridge physical hospitality with digital community. The project set out to go beyond standard food ordering and table reservations by integrating live broadcast schedules, event updates, and curated women’s sports content. The result is a multi-faceted digital platform that deepens brand loyalty while optimizing the physical guest experience.

Problem

Through target research I found that fans frequently faced frustration by arriving at the bar only to find no available seating due to unmanaged capacity issues. Additionally, guests had no reliable way to check if their favorite team or game was actually playing on the venue’s screens before making the trip. Beyond physical visits, the brand lacked a centralized digital space to engage its passionate community with ongoing women’s sports news and events.

Solution

I designed an intuitive iOS application featuring real-time broadcast schedules and table capacity tracking so fans can plan their visits with confidence. To build community, the app incorporates a dedicated newsfeed for women’s sports content alongside event registration and interactive updates. This unified design eliminates venue friction, streamlines ordering and reservations, and extends The Sports Bra’s cultural impact into a daily digital experience.
